Played his freshman and sophomore seasons for Mike Krzyzewski at Duke where he helped the Blue Devils earn No. 1 rankings each year and reach the Elite Eight in 1998 and the NCAA National Championship game in 1999
Concluded his collegiate career playing for Rick Majerus at Utah, helping the Utes reach the NIT in 2001 and the NCAA tournament in 2002
As a prep athlete, was the No. 1 recruit in the country and a McDonald’s High School All-American at Woodbridge High School in Irvine, California
