- Helped lead LCI to an 11-2 record under coach Cliff Walters
- Named defensive MVP
- Earned league defensive MVP honors
- Named first-team All-Alberta
- Selected to participate in the Canada Cup
- Named All-Star linebacker of the tournament
- Also played for the Calgary Colts and Okargan Sun in the Canadian Junior Football League
- As a rookie, led the nation in tackles, averaging 10 per game
- Received conference rookie-of-the-year honors
- Was one of three players nominated for the CJFL Rookie of the Year award
- As a second-year player, helped team to an 11-1 record and an appearance in the conference final
