PROVO, Utah - BYU concludes its two-game home stand on Tuesday when the Cougars host Baylor at the Marriott Center. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. MT. 

WHERE TO WATCH
Tuesday's matchup will be broadcast on ESPN2 with Mike Monaco and King McClure on the call. 

NO TIME TO HIBERNATE
Tuesday will be the 13th all-time meeting between the two programs and third since BYU joined the Big 12. The series is tied 6-6 with all of BYU's wins coming inside the friendly confines of the Marriott Center.

In their last meeting in Provo on Feb. 20, 2024, BYU defeated No. 11 Baylor behind 13 points from Trevin Knell. He was one of three Cougars to score in double figures, going 5-of-11 from the field and 3-of-7 from 3-point range. Dallin Hall filled the stat sheet in BYU's first win over the Bears since 1979 with seven points, seven assists and five rebounds. 

BEAR(CAT) DOWN
BYU got back to .500 in Big 12 play on Saturday evening with an 80-52 victory over Cincinnati. After seeing seven lead changes and three ties in the first half, BYU shot 73.9 percent from the field and 73.3 percent from 3-point range in the second half, en route to outscoring the Bearcats 52-29 and securing the Cougars' fourth win of league play.

The Cougars shot 57.1 percent from the field, making it 23 straight wins when shooting 50.0 percent or better. Their 15 3-pointers, the most allowed by Cincinnati this season, are tied for the 10th most in a single game in program history. 

HOME SWEET HOME
With its win over Cincinnati, BYU has now won 10 or more games at the Marriott Center in 20 consecutive seasons. A win on Tuesday over the Bears would be the Cougars 650th win at the Marriott Center. 

BIG-TIME GAME. BIG-TIME PERFORMERS.
Tuesday's game will feature two of the six players in the Big 12 that have scored 30 or more points in a single game this season in BYU's Richie Saunders and reigning Big 12 Newcomer of the Week V.J. Edgecombe. The duo ranks fourth and fifth in scoring during Big 12 play with 18.13 points and 17.38 points respectively. 

Over his past five games, Saunders is averaging 20.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, while shooting 54.7 percent from the field, 56.7 percent from 3-point range and 76.5 percent from the free throw line. He has knocked down mulitiple 3-pointers in every game during that stretch, including five agianst TCU and Cincinnati. 

PASS. SHOOT. SCORE.
With its performance on Saturday, BYU became one of 10 schools in NCAA Division I men's basketball to make 15 or more 3-pointers in a game this season while making more than 60.0 percent against NCAA DI competition. Of those 10 schools, BYU is one of only three to do it against a school from a power conference. 

JEKYLL AND HYDE
During its current two-game win streak, BYU has outscored opponents 97-60 in the second half, while shooting 70.6 percent from the field, 63.0 percent from three and 72.7 percent from the free throw line. The Cougars have been aggressive on the glass as well, holding Colorado and Cincinnati to a combined 16 rebounds after being outrebounded in the first half. 

DROPPING DIMES
Egor Demin is six assists away from becoming the eighth freshmen in program history with 100 assists. The 6-foot-9 guard ranks second in the Big 12 and 24th in the nation in assists per game at 5.9.
