LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – BYU men’s golfer Zac Jones finished tied for 33rd at the 2024 Patriot All-America after carding rounds of 68-72-70, finishing the tournament even par on Tuesday.
The tournament was spread across three days at Wigwam Golf Course with a field of 84 collegiate golfers from across the country.
In Sunday’s opening round, Jones recorded six birdies to help him finish 2-under 68.
The Patriot All-America tournament honors fallen soldiers and military heroes. Each player is given a PING golf bag that bears the name and branch of a fallen hero. The players are also given the opportunity to visit Luke Air Force Base, where they can meet fighter pilots and crew.
Invitations to compete in the 54-hole stroke play tournament come from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).
