PROVO, Utah — BYU women's volleyball outside hitter Claire Little was named a VolleyballMag All-America Honorable Mention, the outlet announced on Wednesday morning.
Also named an AVCA All-America Honorable Mention, Little led BYU to a 19-10 (12-6 Big 12) season in which the Cougars finished sixth in the conference and earned a 13th-consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.
The Temecula, California native was named to the AVCA All-West Region First Team and was a unanimous pick on the All-Big 12 First Team as well, finishing third in the league in total kills (427), kills per set (3.88) and points per set (4.39).
Little paced the Cougars in kills this season, recording a .275 season hitting percentage. She posted double-digit kills in 24 of BYU's 29 matches, tallying team-high kills in 21 of them en route to six double-doubles.
The sophomore recorded the second-most aces (30), third-most digs (235) and third-most blocks (44) on the team. Little is the 39th different BYU women's volleyball student-athlete to earn an All-America citation.
