PROVO, Utah — BYU football players reported to fall camp on Tuesday and will hold their first practice on Wednesday afternoon as the preparation for the 2024 season officially begins on the field.
After an offseason of strength and conditioning workouts, individual training and player-run-practices, members of the team attended their first official team meetings on Tuesday, received their fall practice gear and prepared to hit the practice field for the first time.
Head coach Kalani Sitake enters his ninth year leading the program, surrounded by a veteran team of returning talent poised to take on year two in the Big 12 Conference.
Wednesday begins the first day of 4 weeks of practice leading up to BYU's season opener against Southern Illinois on Saturday, August 31 at LaVell Edwards Stadium. Season tickets are still available with single-game tickets scheduled to go on sale tomorrow, July 31 at 10 a.m. MT for Cougar Club members, followed by general public availability at 12 p.m. MT.
