TAMPA, Florida — Nine BYU football seniors were named Tuesday to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 Watch List, which identifies the nation's top NFL draft eligible players for the 2024 season. 

Included on the list is defensive end Tyler Batty, quarterback Gerry Bohanon, linebacker Ben Bywater, safety Micah Harper, offensive tackle Brayden Keim, linebacker Jack Kelly, center Connor Pay, receiver Chase Roberts and safety Crew Wakley

The 100th edition of the East-West Shrine Bowl Game will be played on Jan. 20, 2025 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, home of the Dallas Cowboys. The game is scheduled to be televised nationally on NFL Network.

Held annually since 1925, the East-West Shrine Bowl provides an opportunity for the best college football players to showcase their talents in front of scouts and executives of all 32 NFL teams. 

Beginning with Reed Nilsen in 1947, 66 former BYU football players have played in the annual all-star game, including Kedon Slovis, Ryan Rehkow and Isaac Rex, who represented the Cougars in the game last February at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. 

The East-West Shrine Bowl benefits Shriners Children’s and its mission to provide advanced pediatric specialty care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip and palate, regardless of the families’ ability to pay or insurance status.
