Women's Recap
Sami Oblad ran 53.66 in the 400-meters to earn the program's No. 5 all-time mark and place eighth overall. Oblad owns the program's indoor school record in the event with a career-best time of 53.06 run at the 2024 Big 12 indoor championships.
Lainey Jones clocked 23.69 in the 200m to claim the No. 7 all-time spot on the BYU record board as she placed seventh overall. A freshman from Gilbert, Arizona, Jones is also tied for BYU's No. 9 all-time mark in the 60m with a time of 7.57 at the 2023 BYU December Invite.
School record-holder Jaslyn Gardner placed second in the 100m, running just .01 under her record of 11.35. Gardner has a season best of 11.23: a wind-aided time achieved at the Texas Relays in March.
Men's Recap
Abram Schaap broke the 21-second barrier and earned a personal-best by nearly half of a second in the 200m, sprinting to 20.66 and BYU's No. 9 all-time mark in the event. Schaap's previous personal best was a 21.14 run at the 2024 Big 12 indoor championships. He also holds the program's No. 6 all-time mark in the indoor 200m.
Riley Hunt placed second in the 110m hurdles with a 14.03 mark. Hunt's all-time personal best is 13.94, a time he ran at the 2024 Arizona Spring Break Fiesta to put his name at No. 5 on the BYU record board.
Jace Jensen placed eighth in the 400m hurdles with his 52.06. The performance was just .19 off of his all-time personal best. Logan Hubler and G Kire Goulding earned personal bests in the event, clocking 52.47 and 52.45, respectively.
In the 400m, Eli Hazlett and Josh Taylor placed seventh and eighth, running 46.67 and 46.95.
