PROVO, Utah — No. 33 BYU women’s gymnastics invites Ohio State to the Marriott Center for the final home meet of the 2024 season on Friday evening for Senior Night. Seven gymnasts will be recognized following Friday’s competition.

THE COUGARS. BYU last competed in Cedar City against the SUU Thunderbirds, falling narrowly, 197.125-197.000. Despite the loss, the Cougars earned their first 197 since February 2022 and tied their season-high vault score of 49.225. Through the first two rotations, all five scores counted for both BYU and SUU were above a 9.800. 

THE BUCKEYES. No. 15 Ohio State last competed at home for the All-Ohio Quad meet on Friday, Mar. 1, taking home first place with a 196.825. The Buckeyes had an event winner on all four events. Payton Harris won the floor title by tying her career-high 9.950 and tied for the win on uneven bars (9.900). Nicole Riccardi tied for the win on vault with a 9.875. Tory Vetter shared the event title on beam (9.900).
