PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s swim and dive is set to compete at its inaugural Big 12 Conference Championships Feb. 27-March 2 at The Aquatic Center at Mylan Park in Morgantown, West Virginia.

The Big 12 crowns a championship on the highest-scoring team while athletes compete for championships in individual events as well. First Team all-conference honors are given to the top-4 finishers in individual events. Second Team all-conference honors are garnered by those finishing fifth through eighth.
BYU women’s swim and dive enters the meet ranked fourth in the Big 12 with 743.90 dual meet points. The Cougars bring nine individuals ranked among the league’s top-10 performers in their respective events this season.

Mackenzie Lung and Victoria Schreiber lead all BYU women with fifth-place conference rankings in the 200 breast and 1650 free, respectively. Lung also ranks eighth in 100 breast while Emma Marusakova stands at sixth in the 200 back and ninth in the 200 individual medley.
Two BYU women’s relay squads are ranked top-3 in the league, including the 400 free relay squad of Halli Williams, Lily Flint, Julia Bartell and Kara Martinson.
Brooklyn Larson and Alexia Jackson lead BYU women’s diving with top-10 conference rankings on the platform. Larson holds the Big 12’s sixth spot at 220.60 with Jackson in seventh at 211.80.
Thirteen of BYU’s 14 all-conference performers return from the program’s 2023 third-place finish in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF).
