PROVO, Utah — The BYU gymnastics team welcomes West Virginia to the Marriott Center for the first Big 12 home meet on Friday evening.

THE COUGARS. No. 28 BYU last competed against Iowa State in its first-ever Big 12 gymnastics meet on Friday, Jan. 19. The Cougars scored a season-high 196.125, scoring above a 49.000 in all four events for the first time this season. BYU came in behind No. 19 Iowa State who scored a 196.900. Millar-Crossman took home the highest beam score of the evening with a season-high 9.900 on the apparatus. 

THE MOUNTAINEERS. No. 47 West Virginia last competed against Kent State on Sunday, Jan. 28, taking home the win 194.825-194.05. The Mountaineers scored a season high 49.200 on floor exercise, with four of five gymnasts scoring a 9.8 or higher. WVU’s Abbie Pierson took the top spot in the final all-around final standings with a season-high 39.175.
