Men's Preview
BYU men's track and field approaches the meet after four solid performances at the Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener in Boston on Dec. 2. Joey Nokes and James Corrigan ran Indoor Top-10 times in the men's 5000-meters. Corrigan reached No. 6 all time at BYU, clocking a 13:34.24 and finishing 32nd overall. Freshman Joe Lighthall also had an impressive start to the season, achieving a personal best in the 800m running a 1:50.89. Lighthall came in fourth overall in the event.
Women's Preview
The women are coming off of a hot start at the Boston Sharon Colyear-Danville Season Opener last weekend. Seven BYU women posted top-10 times with Jenna Hutchins, Lexy Halladay-Lowry, Carmen Alder and Sadie Sargent in the 5000m, Riley Chamberlain and Carlee Hansen in the 3000m and Meghan Hunter in the 800m.
The December Invitational marks the first competition of the season for BYU's athletes in sprints, throws, jumps and multis.
