PROVO, Utah – With both teams tied for No. 7 nationally, BYU women’s soccer (10-1-2, 3-0-2 Big 12) hosts Texas Tech (11-0-2, 5-0 Big 12) on South Field for a Thursday evening top-10 matchup.
Thursday’s matchup is scheduled for 7 p.m. MDT. The game will be streamed on Big 12 Now on ESPN+.

THE COUGARS. BYU last played at Iowa State on Monday evening, beating the Cyclones 7-0 at the Cyclone Sports Complex. With a season-high seven goals on 30 shots, six different players saw goals for the Cougars. Amongst the goal-scorers was Bailey, notching her second brace of the season, and junior defender Zoe Jacobs, scoring her first career goal for BYU. Freshman Jacey Wood recorded her first career assist against Iowa State. 20 different Cougars saw time on the pitch Monday evening.
THE RED RAIDERS. Texas Tech (11-0-2, 5-0 Big 12) last competed against Cincinnati, blanking the Bearcats, 3-0, courtesy of a goal and assist from both Katilyn Giametta and Sam Courtwright. Texas Tech is led by forward Ashleigh Williams with 12 goals, four assists and 33 shots this season. Macy Blackburn leads her team in assists with 11. The Red Raiders currently lead the Big 12 Conference with an undefeated overall record.
COUGARS VS. RED RAIDERS. The Cougars and Red Raiders will compete for the first time in program history on Thursday evening.
