PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s golf will begin the 2023-24 season as they compete at the Sam Golden Invitational at Oakmont Country Club in Corinth, Texas, on Sept. 11-12.
“We are excited to start our year in the Big 12 and to kick it off in Texas,” said head coach Carrie Roberts. “We feel ready to play and looking forward to hopefully having a solid start.”
Lila Galeai, Adeline Anderson, and Berlin Long will all return to the lineup for the Cougars, with Lily McCauley and Lilly DeNunzio making their first appearances for BYU. Sunbin Seo will tee it up as an individual.
The field of 12 teams includes the tournament host North Texas, as well as Charlotte, Houston, Kennesaw State, Missouri, Nebraska, TCU, Texas Tech, Tulane, Tulsa, and the University of Texas at San Antonio.
The Cougars will begin the two-day tournament with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. CDT on Monday at the 6,413-yard course.
