PROVO, Utah – BYU gymnastics head coach Guard Young announced the home schedule for the 2019 season on Tuesday.
The season will begin with the annual Blue and White Meet on Friday, Dec. 14, before hosting nationally ranked University of Utah on Friday, Jan. 11, in the Marriott Center. At the close of the season last year, the Utes finished ranked No. 5 while the Cougars were No. 17.
BYU will host Utah State on Friday, Jan. 25, at 11 a.m. MST for the annual Kids Meet. Local elementary schools are invited to attend the meet that will take place in the Marriott Center.
There will only be one home meet in February when the Cougars take on Boise State on Friday, Feb. 15, at 6:45 p.m. MST in the Smith Fieldhouse.
Southern Utah comes to the Smith Fieldhouse on Friday, Mar. 15, at 6:45 p.m. MST. BYU closes out the season by hosting the MRGC Championships in the Marriott Center on Friday, Mar. 22, at 5:45 p.m. MST.
The remainder of the Cougars' 2019 schedule will be announced at a later date.
